John Madejski's Wallet Morocco have been pretty fabulous tbf. Just wouldn't fall for them in the box

Yep, especially after how the match started. Brilliant in the second half just didn't fall for them.

Bit disappointed by the lack of black players in the Argentina squad

Will probably be joining the ranks of Ian & Ascot on Sunday….washing my hair (I’m bald of course).

Two great teams, but no novelty factor.

3rd & 4th place play-offs are more appealing tbf.

Morocco certainly made all the Welsh talk of "nothing to be ashamed of, proud to have got here" seem a bit hollow. Fantastic performance and unlike the tedious Croatians tried to win rather than just defend for 120 minutes. A credit to the tournament, which probably now has the 2 best teams in the final, with 2 of the best players in the world going at it. It's going to be a great final I think

Morocco have to have put down a marker as the best team in the tournament - the two finalists having better quality individuals but for team ethic Morocco really impressed. Excellent performance where the only difference was where as the ball wouldn't quite drop for them, France scored 2 off fortuitous deflections, taking the ball directly to someone for a tap in.

Should be a great final - will have to try and avoid the score and watch it later due to plans that have been in place all year.

Only 2 of the last 7 finals have not involved one of the two sides playing on Sunday.

Interestingly* - every World Cup final bar 2010 has involved one of Argentina, Brazil, Italy, France or Germany (including West Germany). 22 finals and 21 of them have included one of those 5 countries. Add the Netherlands to the mix and every final has included one of those 6 sides with Sunday being the 10th time the final has been played between 2 of those main 5.

Seems like it's going to be a good final, might be a bit of a dry third place play off on Saturday though with two teams that don't score many goals. Credit to Morocco though, they have performed well above expectations all tournament and were unlucky last night against France, quality prevailed.

3rd place playoff is always a bit iffy. Basically all the players who haven't played much get a 90min run out and everyone would rather be somewhere else.

Do people actually watch a 3rd place play off? Can’t imagine anything more pointless in a tournament.

Completists? Those who want to watch every game it is physically possible to do so.

Game isn't even live on a readily accessible channel over here, tucked away on some random subscription channel, so pretty sure it will attract an audience close to zero. Especially as they have also already played out a rather drab 0-0 in this tournament.

Actually the English media seem to be saying much the same thing about England with things like "we are so proud" etc. when in fact we reached the stage that pre-tournament was the bare minimum level expected to be reached.

Great effort by Morocco-in the end I disagree with those that have said that the ball didn't drop for them , it was IMHO that the forward players just didn't have the ability that the top teams have.

Am very much looking forward to the final and I wonder which of the two countries our Little Englanders want to win when for many reasons these are two of the countries ( of so many) that they hate.,
