And how are you finding it?

Just back from the reception at the team hotel.. Got a few selfies with Quinn and Long. Had a 2 minute conversation with Roy Keane who was lovely but probably because I led with the line "Hi Roy, I'm from Cork its a pleasure to meet you"

Spoke to Quinn for 4-5 minutes about the club. He said he thought Steve Clarke was doing a great job and thought he was the right man for us. Said hopefully next season will be a bit better and spoke about his disappointment to have gotten an injury at such a crucial time. Tellingly he didnt bring up Brian once which considering he just got sacked could indicate the players werent entirely confident in Brian? (could also mean a lot of other things)

Anyway the Boys in Green looked sharp in training and I'm looking forward to the tournament.

Or were you asking how i find living in Paris?

Yeah, used to live there but your answer was great. Cheers.

Ahh Im living and working in the 16th. Its a great city. Like a less stressed out version of London with wider streets.. and less drunks.. and more homeless..

I was at the arse-end of the RER B.

16th is nice. Used to do phys in Bois de Boulogne and there's a tiny replica Statue of Liberty hiding on one of the islands.

So kick off day today, I think it will be a memorable tournament for all the wrong reasons sadly.

England fans already arrested in Marseille, why do they have to behave like idiots!

Dear ISIS

You know what to do.

Ouch, but yes, which is the more annoying bunch of cnuts is very hard to decide.

(I didn't add anything there but just felt it deserved a quote somewhere along the line. I might even pinch it...)

Awful isn't it. However i'm glad they know the correct way to respond to being attacked. It is to set fire to stuff and throw chairs.....

Was in the port from 5 in the afternoon & there was a LOT of English but absolutely no trouble. I appreciate a lot had more to drink as the night went on but what kicked it all of was the riot police all charging at a group of English stood along a line of bars singing & generally just having a good time and doing nothing wrong. Then the Russians turned up & also Marseille "ultras" all coming to cause trouble but the English will still get the blame for majority of it.

Read something about him playing all the qualifiers for Brazil then getting dropped from the final squad.

He's 29, he's making his first start in a major International tournament, it's on home soil, it may be his only internatioal tournament, he's absolutely bossed the game and has just scored an absolute beauty to win it in the final minutes. I think I'd allow him to get a bit emotional.

Oh, and he's French, it's all those onions.

I thought he was tremendous in a France team that didn't really dazzle.

Nice to see it is kicking off in Marseilles again.... I assume it is the fault of the police/locals/ Russians/stray cats/man in the moon and the lovely videos of England fans chanting delightful things like 'We're rascist......' etc are media bias. I hate the fact that a few idiots ruin it for the vast majority of England supporters. There are (apparently) over 50,000 England fans out there right now. Seems like about 500 at most being dicks.
