Sutekh Interesting possibility. IF Panama score a consolation and then England and Belgium draw they’ll both have identical records so there’ll need to be the proverbial coin toss to decide first and second places

Meanwhile Rose on and Trippier off

No, it will be decided by the disciplinary records.

Do you reckon the Panama fans are singing “Uno uno en la segunda mitad“?

Before today’s games I thought Belgium had 3 bookings to England’s 1. Can’t recall 2 England bookings in this game.

John Madejski's Wallet
Zip There don’t seem to be any big egos in this England team now that the so called golden generation have disappeared. Kane is the big star of this side but seems so grounded and laid back.

Sterling and Lingard?

Other than that, 'greed

Surely Dele Alli is top of that list

Absolutely delighted and proud.

Hope the hype remains modest, great result and performance, moderate opponents.

That was all rather spiffing. Particularly enjoyed Southgate saying he didn't like the performance and highlighting a nervy first 5 minutes and the goal at the end.

Obviously the test is always coming up against a proper contender in the knockout stage, but you've got to say there's something about this England side. And I don't think we've started our best XI yet!

Not suggesting we've got a genuine chance at the trophy, but final 8/4 is a decent shout

You’d be disappointed if we lost to any of group H so you’d have to say now quarters at a minimum.

Were you one of the hooligans who ran into Sports Direct and Sainsburys singing England songs and dancing about?
