Sanguine Yeah, we didn't deserve that. A lot of players struggled, Kelly in particular. And James will be a big miss for the rest of the tournament.
Either Colombia (and the brilliant Linda Caicedo) or Jamaica (who did brilliantly to qualify with scoreless draws against France and Brazil) next.

I think we did deserve it, we had the majority of possession and had a few great chances. We didn't have the rub regards the VAR decisions ie the clear-cut penalty and the overturned yellow card. Always thought VAR would be just another stick to hit the English game.

These groups have always experienced tensions in their efforts to coexist. However, since 2015, a near exponential increase in reported violence has occurred, with Fulani tribesmen apparently responsible for extensive raids upon villages in 22 of Nigeria’s 26 states. The victims of their attacks have typically been unarmed civilians, and the death toll from such raids has exceeded that inflicted by Boko Haram in the same period. Government efforts to resolve the crisis appear to have had limited effect, leading to political tensions between them and a people looking to them for security.

"Ethnicity is similar in concept to race. But while races have often been distinguished on the basis of physical characteristics, especially skin color, ethnic distinctions generally focus on such cultural characteristics as language, history, religion, and customs
(Montague, 1942)."
