There can't be much more than 3000 players in the Football League! That's can't be true.

There are 200 or so professional leagues so 5000 brazilians would mean 25 per league on average. Seems high.

The point being the English league is one of the biggest in the world, so that's a stupendous number to be playing abroad professionally.
