NathStPaul Not sure about the tournament being boring but the above post definitely is.

South Coast Royal Having been out of the country for much of the tournament it has been a strange one for me but stranded sums it up well.
There has been some excitement provided by the hard working minnows who maybe play with more freedom as they know they won't win it whereas the big boys, apart from Spain, have been quite cautious with France in particular so far being almost as cautious as England.
The highlight for me so far has been watching the star of the tournament Yamal along with Williams on the left readily taking players on.
My son was over there for 3 of the games and he told us yesterday that Southgate has been getting pelters galore from the England fans (but not the players), something that we couldn't hear when watching Spanish coverage.
Let's hope it is not an England v France final but , with Carvajal (the best right-back in football IMHO and not the vastly over-rated Walker) suspended it could tip the balance in favour of France, who incidentally have probably the best left-back around who , along with Rabiot on the left, provides great support for Mbappe.

Carvajal is in the top 5 cheats in world football
In a game where 99% or so of players are cheats?

You realise that makes him worse not better
If he’s in the top 5 when pretty much everyone is at it, he must be exceptionally ‘cheaty’

Stranded Its been like most international tournaments hasn't it?
A fun group stage with lots of quality, entertaining games - a 2nd round where the good games still outweigh the cagey ones but then you get to the QF stage and all the side are just desperate to progress, so entertainment levels drop off a bit.
Living in the country it is happening in has made it my favourite tournament of all time, it has been fantastic and I hope the finals in the UK in 4 years have the same feel that this tournament has had.

Silver Fox Lineker was right the other night when he said no wonder the games are a bit of a chore as the majority of the players involved have just finished a full season of hard graft. On the plus side it does mean Luke Shaw can light the tournament up tomorrow
