but that's the same scenario as in the Championship too.frimleygreen_shotspur it is...but i fail to see how a team deserve to be promoted via the play offs at the expense of a team that may have amassed twenty points or more than them over the season as a whole

frimleygreen_shotspurRev Algenon Stickleback Hfrimleygreen_shotspurfloyd__streetefrimleygreen_shotspur i see. so the fact that crap little aldershot average more for home games than many a side in league two gives them cause for concern for the future?
The good burghers of Aldershot have already allowed league football to slip through their fingers once before by tunring up in such pitifully small numbers that their club folded in 1992. So perhaps you should be concerned.
could you give me the gate averages for the season that the club folded? thought not.
Aldershot - 2146.
The average that year was 3406.
for how many games?

You mean three clubs in League 2, which are all ex Conference teams as well.

Will it just proves that even those clubs promoted from the Conference struggle to attract bigger averages, so tend to struggle slightly. Either way, there is nothing to suggest that Aldershot's crowds would grow massively if they got into the football league.
