I'm kicking myself I didn't put a tenner on them going down back in November/December - just had a gut feeling that, once they started losing games, the wheels would come off.

They were still 8/1 to go down last week, some bookies must be living in the land of the Newcastle fan :shock:

I doubt it. Capello was strong minded enough to drop him for hsi first game and Owen has done jack all to convince the manager otherwise.

Owen = Has been.

Much as I love it when the Geordies lose, its only because off our woeful postion. All my Newcastle/Georgie mates are top people. Why the living f*** did they take Keegan back on? A great player but a tosser of a manager, and a quitter too. I couldnt believe they were so pleased to take "King Kevin" back as manager - King? He is not even a Duke.

All academic I suppose, we will wave at them as we steam past them in the table.

Reports today suggest he has 2 games to save his job. Give him another 6 games at least! :D

Nowadays managers don't get enough time to prove themeselves...expectations too high.

The Times Keegan: "Viduka can be Newcastle's Torres"

straw-clutching seems to spring to mind

:shock: Yep - apparently he was unhappy that he couldn't bring in the players he wanted to, so has left the club

Alan Shearer is being tipped to take over as caretaker manager

That club, jeez. They get a billionaire owner and still look at the mess they are.

Get Wise out and get a decent manager in and GIVE HIM TIME.

Also the forced depatture of Milner against KK's wishes has a lot to do with it.
