You're all overlooking the worse decision of the game - the foul on Terry by Berbatov for the 2nd Spurs goal.

The irony in supporters of small clubs only looking at decisions that go against small clubs and then moaning about how refs are biased, despite the obvious biased views that the supporter has!

Classic example is that Spurs goal at OT, Spurs should have won the said. Yet they say nothing about the foul that should have been a United pen before hand.

These decisions even themselves out, shame the blinkered can’t see that.

I don't think the argument is that refs are blinkered, it's that they (and the FA) are subconsciously, or otherwise, intimidated by the big-name players and managers and may give in to pressure. My main problem is with the fact that the FA seem to make an example of smaller clubs (Aliadiere incident) while not having the power, or more likely guts, to take on the bigger clubs. Also, noone is arguing that the big clubs get all the important decisions - Reading had a lucky penalty against Liverpool, a dodgy freekick for the goal, etc. - my other problem is with the Fergusons, Mourinhos and Quierozs of this world slandering referees for these 'bad decisions' and getting away with it, while other managers are rightly punished.

It's not the refs that are the main issue, it's the (especially big club but not exclusively) players, who treat them with no respect and must be punished for it if we want to see some sort of law within the game.
