But we'd then have got a bye after they went out of business.

He who laughs last... is, errr, a bit slow on the uptake?

According to my local paper (the opinion-leading Ealing and Acton Gazette), QPR players have halted a bid by the board to bring Neil Warnock in to replace Mick Harford. Must have been an interesting meeting when they made their views clear

Royal With Cheese Warnock is a classic school bully. I'll definately buy the player or manager that eventually punches him a pint.

You owe a certain Academy Director a pint then....

That wasn't a punch, it was pussy push... and a quick backtrack slink off into the dugout while the rest of the team errupted.

BBC Sport Villa goal: If anyone ever tells you that lightning never strikes twice, tell them they've clearly never heard of The Great Aston Villa-Crystal Palace Saga 2010, as it's about to become known. Villa win a corner WHEN CLEARLY IT WASN'T A CORNER, AGAIN, and from the resulting set-piece, Gabby Agbonlahor glances in a header. Someone get me a visual on Neil Warnock. Pronto.

watching that on the highlights, the complaint from the commentator seemed to be that it should have gone out for a throw-in, even though the ball was only half over the line.

Here's an idea COlin, if the world is against you and refs keep giving phantom corners, why don't you practice defending them?

ankeny Alright,we have our run- ins with him in the past but Im beginning to like him.To me,he is a real old fashioned football manager whose not ruled by how much money he can squeeze out the club,a bit like our Brian in fact.He strikes me that he stands by his team and hes got that"Were all in this together"air about him.I really wouldnt mind him taking over here one day.

Well,Ive changed my mind about him,hes just a bad loser and a bloody whinger.

Neil Warnock "You can say that the red card cost us. We defended really well. Damion's first booking is never a booking in a million years. He never took his eye off the ball.

"But the second one was his own fault. What was the goalkeeper going to do other than kick the ball?

"He must have launched 100 kicks tonight so it was silly and he let his mates down."

Seems fair enough. What else has he said?

The countdown one is genuinely funny, if predictable. The others are shit.
