Spain just don't ever do anything. They were so dull. Germany couldn't get hold of the ball though, so it was effective. Definitely missed Muller. I thought Podolski was fairly poor too.

Shame.

And I'd much rather see an England vs North Korea final Fact of the matter is Spain did a professional job, retained the ball well and were more effective in the final third.

Don't get me wrong, Spain were very good, and technically excellent.

But they are really dull and rely on tiring teams and sneaking a goal where they aren't massively superior. Some superb ball keeping and passing. But Jesus Christ it's not entertaining in any way.

I thought spain played some very good football at times, some great touched and passing, just LOL at people calling that boring. Want to watch a boring side...England come top of the list by a mile in world football.

I ended up reading a book with the footy on in the background, thats how captivated I was.

Not denying it was football for the purists, but if I had to watch games like that week-in, week-out, I wouldn't think I was getting great value for my season ticket.

I was for Spain, despite Klose being my favourite player in the tournament. Could we buy him? He's more or less past it now.
