Agreed on Parker, especially. How old is he, he seems to have been around for ages?

sandman Why would the Wembley crowd need to boo the Welsh anthem? England are vastly superior to Wales so they aren't serious rivals. As well known shrinking violet Gawy Neville put it the hatred comes from the Welsh side of the bridge far more than it does the English side.

I totally disagree. You only have to look at the constant anti-Welsh on this site to know that it goes both ways.

I only saw the 2nd half but I thought England were absolutely atrocious when we got anywhere near their penalty area.

Terrible passing, terrible control.

Having said that, against admittedly very weak opposition, Parker and Wilshere were excellent. Lampard was not.

You'll always get some people who'll hate anything on here that's why they are known to be moany b*stards. Generally though there weren't many English people who were worried about the Welsh team once Bale got injured.

England don't really have any rivals anyway. Bar a mishap or two they're too good for the other home nations but not as good as teams like Germany who they'd like to have a a rivalry with.

LOL @ Wales. F*cking abysmal side who regularly feature two of Reading's poorest players. I think that dire sides like Wales should have to pre-qualify tbh.

Absolute disgrace from the Welsh fans booing the national anthem. We pay there f*cking salaries and pensions as most people in Wales are Public sector.

Still want to know why England can't have their own anthem like all the other home nations.

Those getting so precious about such a trifling matter would do well to remember that England were repeatedly threatened with sanctions by UEFA/FIFA during the 1990s for supporters booing opposing national anthems.

Welsh fans would do well to remember that GSTQ is their own anthem too, however

You really are scum Royalee.

No, I just have an extreme dislike for a nation so focused on hating the English, booing national anthems and blaming everything on other people rather than focusing on the reality that they add next to nothing to the economy and are lucky our country (which they like to sing aggressively is 'full of shit') holds them up. I say grant them independence from the UK and let them live in poverty. Sums them up that their best player cried off today as he couldn't take the embarrassment so pretended he had an injury.

You really don't have a clue do you? How many Welsh people do you actually know? Do you base your rabid generalisations upon the level of booing of a national anthem? You seem to in which case you need to look closer to home. I won't bother to respond to any of your future posts as they are just filled with the bile of a highly immature person.

I know several and they're all quite anti-English thanks. I don't do generalisations, I'd have that down as one of your faults by calling me scum and I'm glad you won't bother responding to me in future because it'll save me time having to read drivel.

I've always thought the fat jibes to Lampard were always just crap banter but he looked MASSIVE earlier. Really really slow and clumsy. Compared to the likes of Wilshere and Parker as you say with their all action style, fitness and ball control, Lampard really looked beyond average. Good pen though.

The game was over after 15 minutes, after that England went through the motions but didn't really try.

The Welsh team are pathetic, however not as pathetic as their fans. Just goes to show the small mindedness of the Welsh....

As for England I thought Ashley Young was the best player on the pitch, closely followed by Wiltshire and Parker. Young and Wiltshire look like they could serve England well into the future. Parker was good, but he is at the top of his game and I doubt he could do it against a decent national team.

All in all 3 points are 3 points and it takes us another step towards Poland/Ukraine and keeps the Italian in Pasta & Meatballs until the next game at least

Calling you scum isn't a generalisation, it's pretty specific.
