this is crazy but they'd probably only need to sign a reliable striker and a reliable defender and they'd have a headstart on where they are now - let's say (for the sake of argument) Doyle instead of Bendtner and Carragher at the back

Carragher at the back? Are you mad? Wenger can get by in most European languages but there's no chance he'd be able to communicate with him.

Good all action game with useless defending from both sides.
Does Wilkins irritate anybody else?
Everything has been hyped-the ground, the atmosphere, most of the players, even the ref has been called "excellent" and Walcott's liitle chip was "fantastic".
Can we have a bit more balance please Ray?

To be fair Walcott's chip was fantastic, to dink like that takes some skill when under pressure.

Cracking game. Interested at Wenger's irritation with his own team for once - I imagine a hairdryering was a possibility.

Teddy Sherringham last night Huddlestone is technically as good as there is in the Premier League as he knows how to hit the meat of the ball

Thanks for the amazing insight Edward

I know Sheringham is old but I thought in his day the ball had become made of leather rather than being just a pig's bladder.

Top 4 is all Arsenal (as a club, not the fans) want every year - until they actually buy some experienced players, they will never win a trophy.
