Ji Dong-Won set for Sunderland for about £2million from Chunnam Dragons. Was on the books at Reading in the 2007-08 season. Another striker that slipped through the net?

Some decent players brought in by Championship clubs already; Chris Burke is a good signing by Brum, and seeing our rivals snap up Craig Davies, Marlon King, Glen Murray, Nathan Tyson.....well, I'd have any of those at Reading given the paucity of our striking options. All freebies too :| .

Yep, for every gem people claim we picked up, we have messed up equally as much. Theo walcott being the biggest example.

I actually remember that he was leaning towards the saints' academy regardless of what Reading were doing at the time.

Just as there's always some you pick up who don't work, there's always some you could have had that slip through your fingers. Such is life, nothing's perfect. The majority are probably at least limited successes or better though.
