I called southampton out for being a one man team a few weeks ago and was ridiculued. He gets injuted they get walloped against blackpool and then draw against pompey when hes half fit. Back to full fitness...2-0 saints guess who scores both goals  . I fvcking hate them its so predictable.

Couldn't we have said the same about Long last year though? Pretty much dragged us from relegation fodder to play-off finalists. Assisted by Mikele I hasten to add.

Fair play to them. To jump up one division & score 26 goals in 38 starts is awesome.

Why do you hate them? West Ham I can understand. I couldn't care less what Saints or Lambert do, we just need to look after ourselves!

I hate them because its beyond predictable and its the only way they win games. If they were scoring from all over the field and playing well as a team then fair enough...can't argue with that. Long was a great player for us but we were nowhere near as reliant on him as they are on lambert. They only other time I can remember a team being so dependant on one player to carry the team was defoe when he was on loan at bournemouth.

Agreed I don't hate them at all. I generally wish them well providing we get the other spot. WHU however.....

Although I can now add Leeds to my list of clubs I hate.

Self proclaimed 'pride of the South' seems a good place to start

Do you also 'hate' Everton for calling themselves The People's Club? Honestly, who cares?

Yep, and living where I do for most of the year I'm within dangerous proximity of an awful lot of Scummers and can confirm them to be horrendous plastics with mega delusions of grandeur.

Pricks the lot of them, and can't wait to give 'em a good thumping on Friday. 8)

The funny thing is a lot of other clubs say exactly that about us, and now we have money too...

I don't h8 Southampton but I certainly have a dislike for them and their silly accents. Lived there for three years when I was at uni and they really do believe they're a big club.

I actually think most RFC fans are the opposite, happy to be a small town club in the lower leagues.

But yes I take your point, but given I have lived 10 minutes down the road from St. Mary's for the majority of my life, Southampton are my equivalent of the Oxford/Aldershot/Swindon hatred that you all have.

Regardless of other results, promotion is in our hands.

In recent weeks, by common agreement, our run-in was considered toughest, including away at West Ham, and then playing the resurgent Leeds......suddenly the teams that West Ham have to play are all coming into form; would you rather play Brum today, or last game of the season?

Oh, and I'd rather Saints went up than West Ham!
