SPARTA
soggy biscuit Alex Ferguson asks the PL to investigate the transfer of Ezekiel Fryers from Standard Liege to Spurs.

Was a Man Utd player until the end of last season, Spurs wanted him in the summer when his contract was up but a tribunal would have set a fee, in the region of £5M-£6M. Spurs said they couldn't afford him, he joined Standard Liege for £250,000 (no tribunal for moving abroad) and Spurs sign him this week for a reported £900,000.

LOL

Fair-game. LOL at Ferguson.

Absolutely, if United wanted £5m for him they should have got him on a contract.

You don't know the background here do you? Nor the rules.

But a general LOLz at Fergie to be fair as he's clearly pulled off similar stunts before.

Likewise, but who drops out so he can play? Would sooner hear United were in for him, he might make 20 starts then.

Juve confirm negotiations with Drogba. Could be interesting as they're probably only a top class striker away from being flipping good.

Drogba is too old IMO, on his way down. He should switch to CB like Dion Dublin did

Drogba gives away too many penalties when defending. HTH.
