Ian Royal I think they can only be in admin for 18 months before the get automatically like liquidated anyway. And that needs a judge to have given a 6 month extension. Plus the league has said they will only consider the PST as owners and if they sell to the new bidder then they lose the place in the league anyway.

It's been longer than 18 months.

Just been issued a statement from Portpin, will tweet the key points now but it's pretty explosive stuff. #pompey

1) Portpin asking for further Football League clarification on "no other bid". Believe it's "unlawful" and leaves them open to legal damages

2) Portpin cite recent example of Swindon takeover in argument to Football League statement that there is not time to seal new deal

3) Portpin say Football League have left itself exposed to legal action for damages from creditors which could amount to millions of pounds

4) Portpin ask League to consider Keith Harris which they believe offers a better deal for creditors and earns them £6.3m for Fratton Park.

Portpin: "We are calling on Chairman Greg Clarke to commit publically to the Football League reviewing any bid that's put to it for approval

Portpin: by the administrators. If Mr. Clarke fails to provide everyone with the certainty that's needed on this issue, the Football League

Portpin: will have no option but to accept its share of the responsibility for the damage that could be caused to #pompey, its creditors."

Few more highlights:

- Portpin understands that the administrators are satisfied with the terms of the Keith Harris bid.
- Portpin say threat of withdrawal of 'golden share' by Football League if another bid is put forward for approval is against insolvency law.
- Portpin say Keith Harris bid makes payments to unsecured creditors of £750,000 versus £50,000 under the terms of the PST bid.
- So in short Portpin claim Harris will pay £6.3m for Fratton Park, £750,000 to unsecured creditors & pay football creditors quicker
- Portpin say of the £500,000 that's promised under the terms of the CVA they're owed £450,000 as secured creditors hence their claim of 50k.

PST's response:

"You would think by now they would get the message the Football League only want to deal with PST bid."

"It’s interesting to see Portpin seem to have considerable knowledge of the details of the Harris bid, considering Harris was assuring everyone his bid was independent of Portpin with no legacy issues."

"The fact Portpin under Harris bid are to get £6.3m for Fratton Park demonstrates once and for all what this really about. It’s about Portpin taking more money out of Portsmouth Football Club."

SPARTA For the club to gain any respect back I really hope they do go bust and start up a new club.

don't know why the fans haven't already done this. Was quite envious of AFC Wimbledon in the early days.

They are all ready to do exactly that but need to know one way or another if they can purchased the carcass of the existing club - they hate the limbo just as much as everyone else.

Surely there's a cut off date for them to register a new club in a league of any significance for next season, that must be coming up :?:

It can be done in May/June, I think. AFCW certainly did it in the summer break.

So the stooge bid from Harris grabs an extra £3m for Chainrai and he tosses £1m back into the pot for the creditors. Smart move.

Is there really £6.3m in assets left though?

22 without a win. What would be an all time league record?

38, Derby County in THAT Premier League season, plus the start of their return to the Championship.

And they started as low down as Step 6 in the Combined Counties Division 1. My guess would be that a new PFC would start in Wessex 1.

All the smart money says they'd start in Conference South. The FA's Leagies Committee now decides the most appropriate starting position for any club deemed to be a "continuation of a previous club." That gets around the problems of Step 6 clubs having to accommodate and police 3-4 thousand away supporters.

"but what about the fans?" line that sometimes comes up is really just a distraction.

not as ashamed as a bunch of reading fans on this board with regard to their own club.

The end of season run in table on F365 looks nice. On seasonal form they'll finish bottom with 31 points. On current form over the last 8 games, they'll finish bottom with 17 :-)
