New to this

by ARTHURBACON » 24 Apr 2013 10:08

Hi guys im new to this forum , so please be gentle with me , I'm just wondering what the general feeling is about Nigel Adkins , I know he did a fantasic job at Southampton but can he really do things here.

On the face of it you would think he can but I still think Championship is his level , after all look whats happening now at Saints since their new manager arrived , 12th in the prem and going for europe next season
where as we are in the second tier again with a lost team :(

Dear Arthur,

All new people go through the above abuse/questions it's just the way things are on here. Either ignore it or give as good as you get.

Myself, I prefer a more informative welcome...

PS - You should have posted this in the Team section where we have at least 3 or 4 similar threads already....

People always tell new folk to f-off. It's like a tradition. Don't worry about it.

I wouldn't repost it as a new topic elsewhere as there are already a load on Adkins, so you could find one of those to read and comment on. However, if you want to make more of a splash and make people more aware of your new presence then go ahead....

Yeh good thanks , still gutted that we are crap tho and be the only ones who got relegated from last seasons 3 ,

I hope Adkins can turn us around, although I think he may be kicking himself for taking this job as opposed to Leeds :(

Another thing we like to ask new forumers to do is fill in this brief questionaire. Thanks in advance.

In the past 4 weeks, did you:

Miss any work, school, or normal daily activity because of asthma?

Wake up at night because of asthma?

Believe that your asthma was well controlled?

Do you use an inhaler for quick relief from asthma symptoms?

Hi Arthur

Apologies for the rude responses. team Board is probably best for you for this kind of stuff. Feel free to join us on Anything Else where you can discuss how many showers a day you have and then get told you are a ' nasty lefty' because you like Marmite, or it's Wednesday or pretty much anything really. There is also a members section that opens after 5000 posts that many of us use, it's pretty good in there and most people try to get there quick so understandable if your first 5000 posts are quick and add little to the portal.
