Does anybody remember this.I remember current players at the time being involved,Man Utd etc.Not sure what year maybe 87 or 88? anyone have any info about it? I remember it from when i was a kid unless im mistaken

I remember RFC being involved in a tournament in London in 1988, current first teamers were involved in that (and resulted I think in playing 2 games and losing both). May have been soccer 7s rather than 5 a side though.

Maybe thats it then.I only remember Man Utd being in it as i was a Utd fan when i was growing up.I think the tournament i remember was televised or at least highlights were shown.I suppose the tournament could have possibly been part of the Football League centenary celebrations that were going on at the time from 87-88.

What about the London 5s - was held at Wembley Arena, We went on a school trip, so was more likely to be the 90's i suppose
