Another poor result for Windsor losing at lowly Horley.

Again we go 3-0 down before waking up and winning the 2nd half. Red card for each team.

Didn't go myself so can't comment any more than that as I had an alternative appointment watching some children at a swimming pool.

...not to mention that Frimley G are up to 5th in the CCL Prem now - above Windsor on goals scored. FG have three away games in quick succession (Cove, E&E and Wembley) followed by the visit of Windsor on Sat 26th Oct - I can almost sense the Papillons slavering at the prospect! :D

..Oh and not that many of you were queueing up to dash round the M25 .... but this PMs Cup Tie at Aveley FC twixt Grays and Daventry has been postponed - rescheduled for Wed evening.

Low crowd at the Maidenhead Slough game. No idea what Maidenhead get these days but Slough would get around that playing at Windsor!

Mind you at least there was no scenes like this http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... fa-2366181 :D

What was the crowd?

Of course, poor Slough are no attraction for such a highly ranked side as Maidenhead Utd but with half price admission, no PL or Champ football - would have expected a decent gate.

Royalist, if you want to post like a total window licker, The Team board is the place for you.

This is a good thread, bar absolutely everything that you've posted on it.

Brislington account for Weston Super Mare by three goals to two.... That would be great if they get through the next round

Went to Barnet v Wrexham today. The Hive looks better in person than it does in pictures.

Half-price day, so just £11.50 in the seats. Not a bad game either, but it got somewhat heated with three players sent off in the last five minutes.

The last was for a terrible tackle that left these holes in the Barnet player's leg.

A three match ban doesn't seem enough.

It does appear that if the culprit is the Wrexham player in shot I wonder if his name is Herod

Saw the last sending off. How he had the cheek to protest about it in the handbags after!

Edgar Davids wearing the Number 1, getting sent off and refusing to travel overnight for away games.

But the most shocking thing? half price tickets for a conference game is £11.50!??!

Kleanthous is comfortable with this arrangement.

Davids normally works (and plays) for free.

The owner, and his pal, might be but are the players and fans happy to have a manager not 100% committed. Yes he was a player well above conference level but they are not doing brilliantly.

Either way from what i caught of the game, the goal in the 90th min to the end, the BT Sport coverage seems decent. Both times i've been able to watch they've been able to use the cameras in the dressing room after a sending off. 8)

Doesn't feel like the non league scene i know though.

I think Saturday was the first time I have heard serious calls for Hippolyte to go. We were dreadful tbf. In the first half we were more than capable of getting the ball out wide and getting the crosses in but there was literally nobody there to take the chances. We obviously have problems at the back but the bigger concern is when Pacquette is out of the team we have nobody to fill the role and there is no way Pacquette can do a season without picking up injuries and/or hitting a bad patch of form.

At half time Drax decided to scream blue murder at the team, audible to anyone in a 100m radius but clearly it didn’t do the trick as the second half was no better. We decided passing the ball was not the answer and instead we’d pump it up aimlessly and let the Slough back four get some heading practice in. I don’t recall us winning a single knock down all game.

Saw a couple of players wondering home about 7ish looking thoroughly dejected as they were doubtless kept in the dressing room for some time getting torn a new one.

With all that said I personally don’t think sacking Hippolyte is the right way to go. As long as he keeps us in this division I see no reason to switch up.

Slough played really well though, a big fan of their keeper who took the frankly OTT bantz and outright abuse he got in good spirits. Most of it coming from the ‘Berkshire Whites’ – Reading based Leeds fans out for the day. A nice enough bunch of lads but singing in a northern accent was a bit :|

Date for your diaries - Saturday 2nd November 2013 Windsor v Ash Utd (CCL Premier Division). Windsor FC will open the gates for free as we host an excellently planned community event where money will be raised in aid of Help For Heroes. As you may or may not know, Windsor is host to two British Army regiments - The Household Cavalry and The Coldstream Guards. Gates will open at 1pm I believe rather than the currently publicised 1.30pm. Car parking at Stag Meadow will be at a premium so alternative arrangements are being put in place - all within easy walking distance.
