AthleticoSpizz  we are talking about Wigwam and Hull here aren't we?
I meant, nothing sub standard about the teams fielded by Liverpool, Everton and Spurs in their cup defeats to Arsenal this season.
Bugger the shovel, just rent a JCB.

Hoop BlahRoyal Rother Fabianski wasn't at fault for either goal.
I didn't say he was. He's not as good a shot stopper as Szczesny though as so it's not beyond the realms to think their number one keeper might've got a finger tip to the first or done better than turnig the second away into the path of Davies.
Not keeper errors no, but just like any shot where the commentators say they're 'unstoppable' you see keepers pulling off unbelievable saves at times and the better keepers, like Szczesny, do it more often than the rest.

Snowball Ramsey's goal-scoring as a midfielder is fabulous
He was out injured for a fair bit but still managed 18 goals in 32 starts,
5 goals in 7 Champions League starts
Yeah, he's really crap

It is generally acknowledged amongst Arsenal fans that Fabianski is every bit as good a shot-stopper as Szczesny, if not better. He's just not quite as commanding and a bit flappier on crosses and hence has been No 2 in the normal pecking order.
Nameless Really pleased to see Arsenal get that trophy, just a shame Liverpool didn't take the league and complete a double for 'real football'

AthleticoSpizz Happy for Arsenal...they needed that
Hardly a massive victory ................penalties v Wigwam and eventually an ET win against the massive 'ull City
Where were the big boys (the Manchesters/ the Livertons/the Chelseahotspurs etc) to put in that proper challenge?

stealthpapes I always find those sort of comparisons trite as, for example, Borussia Monchengladbach won the Bundesliga three times between 1975 and 1977.
Where were the 'big boys'?
At home, beaten soundly.
