Who Moved The Goalposts? Derby sign Ince for a record £4.75m. Two things spring to mind:

1) Where are they getting all this money from to fund their summer spending?
2) How on earth will they meet FFP?

Are they taking a massive punt on going up and then worrying about it (known as Loftus Road Syndrome)

Derby had a below average wage bill for the Championship last season, although that's probably no longer the case with the signings of Bent, Pearce and Ince. It also helps having an average attendance close to 30,000.

No Fixed Abode Falcao joins Chelsea on loan. It could be a master stroke of a signing.

potential

serious question - Is Falcao still owned by Doyen Group? how does 3rd party ownership work in the PL if the player is only loaned here?

If a player is third party owned then any placement is a loan Shirley

Agreed. Quality player.

Ruined at Man Utd.

Shit player at United. Being a bit-part player at Chelsea isn't going to help him rediscover the magic.

If that's the case they will definitely have to let Sterling go and they will be in breach of FFP.

That sounds like a sensible Liverpool transfer. It must be years since that happened.

It's nearly as much as they paid for Andy Carroll.

tbf they did manage to offload Torres for £50million at the same time, a transfer deal worthy of Nicky Hammond

There's a pattern developing here.

Let's hope Sterling sinks into a sea of anonymity (via world cup final win).

Might be more comical if Liverpool won the league to see how quickly Sterling and his agent backtrack on their comments (won't happen of course but it'd be worth it just for the  )

Less than they played for Carroll for a player who is twice as good. £32.5 million for a top Premier League player is OK. They could probably find somebody I've never heard of who was banging in goals for fun in the Europa League last year for a little less but then there is much more of a risk they will struggle and fail like all their other transfers.

Perhaps playing for a much smaller club with far less history will help him.
