The new main stand is coming along nicely. 58000 cap. from the start of next season.

And thankfully it'll still feel like Anfield and not another boring bowl. The Anfield Road stand is next, adding another 4800 to it.

Quite apt for a club that likes to live in the past.

The way they played yesterday they won't even make the Europa League that could well be left to Chelsea and Man Utd next season.
At the moment , amongst other problems, Liverpool have too many soft players in the same starting line-up and yesterday, despite having loads of possession and hitting the woodwork they lost nearly every 50/50 challenge and it was a certainty that if Andy Carroll got a decent cross into him he would score with a header.
None of these are Klopp's players and it will be interesting to see the type of player he brings in during the next 2 transfer windows.

But I thought Klopp was a genius of getting the best out of mediocre players?

When he took over Liverpool fans were saying they wouldn't need wholesale changes. Now they've changed their tune after a draw with West Brom and defeats to Watford and West Ham and narrowly beating a poor Sunderland side.

Whereas Chelsea have a team of 'stars' and look at them.

Yes, mediocre players like Hummels, Lewandoski,Reus, Bender etc.
Never mind about what "Liverpool fans" were saying-was that the 41,000 regulars or the countless millions worldwide that you canvassed to seek their opinion?

Perhaps you may have to reappraise your view that Klopp is a genius-you have been caught up in the same hype as applies to the 2-season only special one.
Whatever happened to him?

3 more Hamstring injuries last night :|

Unconvincing away win at Stoke, both sides playing without a striker. What are the odds on Liverpool winning the League Cup and instantly Klopp becomes a god like figure overnight?

Well it would be an achievement, let's not suggest otherwise.

But actually the Liverpool forums are pretty level-headed in their support of Klopp. There's acceptance/resignation that this is likely to be a bit of a nothing season, League Cup win or not. It's difficult to see how the squad are going to cope with the Europa League to come too.
