I'm guessing, that IF they do get promoted this season they have a better chance of attracting someone of a higher caliber - plus it may take him a while to understand the team, look what has happened with us since Clarke left.

I seem to remember it was widely reported on Sky Sports News the day before. Of course, when you've got 24hrs to fill and fcuk all to report, you can say anything you want, safe in the knowledge that the moment you realise it's not true you can just pull the story and it no longer exists. It's also a piece of piss to edit a web page.

I don't think they confirmed he actually had the job, just that Sky Sources were reporting he'd be announced as the new manager the following day.

Obviously that's quite a semantic differentiation, but this is Kes we're talking about here.

Good to see Colin back after his second "retirement". Or is it the third?

Warnock will get to come back down to us again this season then, next week in fact.

This is his sixth job (if you include the temporary stint back at QPR) since his last ever job at Sheff United.
Good to see how quickly the Rotherham players took on his style, finished with 9 men on Saturday.
