Juventus for Pogba you'd think?

Wouldn't be shocked to see Lingard up at Newcastle.

Never really got how Lingard got to be capped by England.
A moderate player from a big club who had a purple patch at West Ham (a bit like Willock at Newcastle)but subsequently returned to being moderate.

Pogba has done so little for Man Utd and has cost them a fortune-it's probably not too late for him to be the player that he has been in Italy and for France again.

There's a bit of a myth that he always plays really well for France. I watch Man Utd Players rather than a national squad so have seen a lot of French games. Pretty much what he does at Utd, to be honest. Can be world-class but can also go missing

Lingard had a 3-month purple patch with us as well...Messi Lingard

Where does Gareth Bale go now? Retirement talk be dead in the water. He will need a premier league club to keep up intensity and fitness.

Man Utd? Aston Villa? Liverpool perhaps for a season?

Not good enough for Liverpool anymore. Pundit talk for some time has been Cardiff, even short-term to stay sharp for the WC. He might do a Villa or a Newcastle tops, for a year.

Maybe I am wrong, but I wouldn't think his level would be anywhere near those clubs. And I am not sure those clubs would want 6 months of helping a player get fit for another team anyway.

I am spreading my net wide here by guessing either:

Spurs with no contract so will just train to keep fit

A team who have just gone up to the Prem as its good for their profile and he gets games as a good level

A football league club (Cardiff) where he will not play every game

An MLS club in a warm place as their season runs to November

I reckon option 3 or 4 are most likely

Think it would be nice to see him go to Cardiff. Would like to see more players do that kind of thing in the twilight of their careers.

Bale and Ramsey will both end up at Cardiff.

Option 5:

He stays in Spain. His family stayed back there whilst he was on loan at Spurs. They like the country, he just doesn't like the treatment he got from Marca and AS.

ooh yeah. Maybe even join one of RM's local rivals (Rayo Vallecano?)!!

And its been said enough times now that he speaks pretty decent Spanish, just doesn't want to do so in live interviews as the sports press out there will leap on any tiny error and attack him over it

Looks like Nick Pope is on his way to Forest. Major coup for them if it goes through.

Jeez hope not, he's a proper mistake merchant. Has a bit of history with our supporters on social media if I remember rightly too. If he becomes available on loan I think they'll be a few Championship clubs in for him and even if we were interested we'd be at the back of the queue.
