Loafer Really good Bunch of Amateurs documentary on Walton and Hersham fc
Never really heard of them, and done no research about them and no idea if they went up (I assume so)
Basingstoke fans do themselves no favours here though....

Walton and Hersham finished 2nd in the league to the Champions Basingstoke Town who despite limited budget etc were by far the best team in 21/22.

It's much better than the very sporadic output over the years from the other one, but yes, this, and the gushing forth from my buddies in the Great Park Crew, is not really for me. But it's just marketing really and I totally get it.

Maybe I am being a tad harsh but I just think they need to remember they are a brand new club and play it from the angle that nobody knows them yet. They just need to calm down a bit and forget all that Great Park Crew nonsense. Seeing a photo of 5 middle aged men on the piss before a pre season friendly isn't exactly top tier content imo.

Been there about 25 years though in some capacity, just seems weird all of their better players are jumping ship and there has been radio silence pretty much when it comes to new recruits etc.
Bit worrying as my son will likely be playing first team football there in just over a years time.
Money dries up players go elsewhere. Tale as old as time. Tbh I don't really understand why players are willing to travel around for the relative beer money at some levels and don't just stick with what's closest!
Already signed Massimo Giamettei and he scored a late equaliser, in a 2-2 draw, for them at Gloucester City last Saturday.
