Sutekh
Hendo Tbf, Patrick Roberts is a fine player and probably worth £5m of anyone’s money.

Can't see Sunderland fans being overly impressed losing the likes of Patrick Stewart to a rival in the same division, with their sense of entitlement there could be ructions brewing if they don't spend immediately on bigger and better names.

They've made it so

Orion1871 Southampton set to sign Ross Stewart and Patrick Roberts from Sunderland.

The head of recruitment at Southampton? Darren Mowbray, brother of Sunderland boss Tony.

This is excellent.

Gooch also on his way out of Sunderland with another 1 or 2 rumoured to be pushing for a move as they are unhappy at promises being broken and players allowed to leave. Also read they have a player stuck on a number of appearances as 1 more triggers a payment they can't afford.

This is an odd part of modern day transfers, tracking flights.

United fan thinks he has found Sofyan Amrabat's private plane that will bring him to finalise his transfer to the club.

It's been a big thing in Turkey & Italy for a few years as the fans will then gather at the airport on the players arrival (obv nod to Darius Vassel for the greatest ever of these) but other fans seem to have picked up on it but do nothing with it. It's a bit odd.

The Cole Palmer transfer to Chelsea is a strange one. City fans rate him highly, £40m is wtf over the top transfer fee  (considering Maddison was £50m) and Chelsea are all over the place with signings so will he even be a guaranteed starter there ?!

I for one am stocking up on the popcorn ahead of watching Chelsea try to manage FFP in the coming seasons. Their accountants should be paid double.

I thought the same but when looking on social media as the story broke a couple of days ago City fans seemed quite happy with it. They were basically saying he looked exciting when he broke through a couple of years back but more recently hasn't looked to have improved and makes mistakes. A lot of them comparing him to the rise of Foden saying that Foden was a clear talent and this kid, while decent, just isn't quite there.

If they fail to get into the CL in the next couple of years it could be a huge problem for them

Top 5 in the PL very likely to get CL spot this season though so a much improved chance they will get in

Shows how high the levels are at the biggest clubs in the world, I guess. Tommy Doyle another youngster leaving City. He's a regular for England Under 21s, but has spent two seasons out on loan, and makes it a third now at Wolves. Wolves have a £5m buy option next summer.

Putting aside the Caicedo and Lavia shambles, £130m for Mac Allister, Szoboszlai and Gravenberch (with Endo as backup) isn't bad work at all for a rebuild. Asking a lot to compete with City, Arsenal and Chelsea, but I wonder if in a year these three might be another Salah-Firmino-Mane.

Harsh reality of being where City are now is that if you are not 1 of the best 2 players available to them in that position in the world then you are not good enough to stay.

If Liverpool get a huge money offer for Salah they would be nuts to turn it down.

Sell him, submit a bit for Chiesa.

Yep, this one puzzles me somewhat too. He's ok but it he really worth the amount being suggested or going to make anyone in the top half of the table a better team.

One for the homegrown quota

You'll probably see Spurs mostly trying to shift players on today and get rid of their squad bulk, seems Ange likes buying homegrown players who play a certain way (see Maddison)

Anything over £100m would be tempting, but they'd have to get a good replacement through today. Otherwise they are just undoing reasonable work in the rest of the window.

Salah hasn't really looked interested for a while imo, they should have cashed in about a month ago to give them enough time to get a replacement in.
