Winston Biscuit I had forgotten that it's this time of the season you get headlines of 'x ruled out for season', which means they are out for 2 weeks.

Also x hasn't scored for 5 months or x haven't won a game for 5 months, but includes the summer break and weeks where only 1 game, or no game has been played and actually ends up being 3 or 4 games.

YES!
similar to 'Its X's first win over Y for 50 years!' and you find they have only played each other once in a cup game during those years as they have been in different divisions the whole time

6ft Kerplunk Tossing a coin to decide which end a penalty shootout takes place in club competitions. The home side on the night has already had the advantage 30mins extra to try and score a goal with the majority of the crowd backing them. Should just default to being at the end where the away fans are.

Lighthouse 2 legged play off games shouldn’t be settled on penalties if the scores are level. The highest placed team goes through

Dirk Gently Won't that just mean the higher-placed team sets up with a 10-0-0 formation and kills the game as a spectacle?

Dirk Gently WRTTOP, when a goalkeeper makes a routine catch and throws themselves down on the ground, ball in hand. It seems to be endemic now, and serves no purpose I can see other than to waste time.

Sutekh England never getting the world cup finals despite being one of the few nations with the infrastructure to be able to meet FIFA's ever increasing, over the top demands.

genome Topical: fans (and now clubs apparently) immediately leaping to corruption over bad refereeing decisions, rather than the far simpler explanation of them just being useless.

Buying those 36 left backs 2 summers ago is really coming back to bite Forest on the arse.
Just a thought, are they in the same boat as Leicester in so much as it doesn't matter what league they're in next season, they're going to shit the FFP bed regardless?
