Royals and Racers Cirencester Town have asked for and received voluntary demotion from the Southern league. Looks like it’s the Hellenic league for them.

Sad to see this. Tidy setup at Cirencester, nice ground.

Suggest this league is possibly the one to go to if Reading's season goes **** up. Plenty of local interest and derbies...

NathStPaul Berks County first team managers step down.

Absolutely no idea who is in the frame to take over.........

Change of mind- now staying as Berks County are promoted to CC Prem North.

Yeah I got a phone call that same night telling me that Combined Counties had another one of their brainwaves and plans had changed. Bit gutted but they are good lads and they deserve a crack at the higher level.

...be a bit cramped up there as Windsor are staying put too - so one of them is going to be playing a lot of Fri night games
-currently NLM peeps reckon it'll be primarily Windsor, who will take up the evening slots?

Little Wimborne Town (biggest achievement winning FA Vase some years ago) promoted along with Frome.
There was a top of the table clash between them the other week where the crowd was over 2,000.

They will have some good local derbies with Poole and Dorchester Town.

There was an interesting article in this weeks NLP when they listed the mileage for each team in steps 1 - 4 for next season. 2 teams had total round trips of 10,000 miles Gateshead and Truro.
Thatchams mileage has gone from about 1,400 to 4,400 miles. The mileage for teams in Southern Div 1 is brutal.

That's because of the increased success of teams in Cornwall with Falmouth and Helston both being promoted last season to join Mousehole in the division. Be interesting to see how long they last at the higher level. Didcot and Evesham(!) will be the furthest away trips for all of them. Still, fans in Cornwall will be enjoying it with 4 teams now playing at a decent non league level.

Appeal thrown out by FA.
