Orion1871 Joining Man United put the kibosh on Erikson's career. Just like numerous others over the past decade.

In his two seasons at Utd:

- FA Cup Winner
- FA Cup runner-up
- Carabao Cup Winner
- 3rd Place finish

In his seven seasons at Spurs

- Fcuk All

Brogue
Winston Biscuit **Non Europe alert**

Copa Libertadores semi final first legs over the last 2 nights:

Colo-Colo 1-1 River Plate
Fluminense 1-0 Atletico Meneiro
Botofogo 0-0 Sao Paulo
Flamengo 0-1 Penarol

The Penarol result a real stand out there. The Uruguayans getting a win away to one of Brazil's big boys. Penarol have won only 3 of their last 25 Copa Libertadores away matches.

Thats 5 Brazilian clubs, 1 Argentinian, 1 Uruguayan and 1 Chilean

Thread is European Leagues. Post clearly states "non-European". Poster is knowingly breaking the rules because they know there'll be no repercussions. Suggest an example is made of this poster.

A 2 week ban seems a bit harsh, but rules are rules I guess.

Still think he misses the cold winter evenings playing against Stoke and Barnsley.

By the way, why are all their players called FC Bayern Munich according to their shirts?

Andy Carroll scores twice on his Bordeaux debut including a great headed equaliser late on

Stuttgart, who lost 2 of their best players to Dortmund in the summer, played Dortmund yesterday and beat them 5-1

Fernabahce, managed by Mourinho, lose 3-1at home to Galatasaray, having already dropped points previously against another team in the league, and having already been knocked out of the Champions League in the qualifiers by Lille

My one man crusade as to the pointlessness of Kylian Mbappe continues. Without him, PSG are unbeaten and top of Ligue 1 and won their first group stage match in the CL. With him Real Madrid are unbeaten and second in La Liga, having won their opening CL game. He's got time to change the (my) narrative of course, but for now and at nearly 26, his club career is a bit of a nothing much.

Bundesliga - for all the jokes at their appointment of Kompany at Bayern, he has unlocked something. They look unbeatable again.

The match stats for Werder in their 5-0 home defeat are pretty awful. 0 shots, 1 corner and 30% possession.

They are looking very good but they haven't really played anyone yet - Wolfsburg and Kiel will be either in or close to relegation this year.

First big test will be this weekend when they host Leverkusen before the head to Frankfurt where they lost 5-1 last season, and who are also starting to look very good indeed -in Marmoush and Ekitike, Eintracht have an excellent pair of forwards, who they will no doubt sell for stupid money in the summer before buying in someone much cheaper, who somehow ends up being better.

In the latest episode of Spain doesn't have a racism problem.

"I call Madrid the Real Immigrant. Madrid has eight blacks, two white foreigners and one Spaniard, Carvajal"."He [Vinicius] may be a great player, which I believe he is, but he is a ...shitty person"

Paco Roig ex-president of Valencia

Pisa, not been in Serie A since 1991, are the early league leader in Serie B

FC Magdeburg unbeaten and third in the German second tier. The club is 'famous' for being the only East German side to win a European trophy - the 1974 Cup Winners' Cup - before reunification. They have never played in the Bundesliga.

More of the same in Portugal - the top three and the usual top three. Sporting manager Ruben Amorim was linked with Liverpool - his team have won all six games to start the season, conceding only two goals. Can't be long before Swedish striker Viktor Gyokeres gets a move into one of the bigger leagues. Coventry City sold him for €20m last year and get 15% of any future sale.

Alaves almost complete a remarkable comeback from 3-0 down against Real Madrid with two goals in the last 10 minutes.

Real lucky to have 10 players on the pitch at the end after a disgusting off the ball assault from Endrick on Alaves defender Mouriño.

Endrick seems to be all the Brazilian footballer potential pitfalls rolled into one.

Hot-headed, a bit short and might get fat - what are the other ones?

Yes deffo has the DNA potential to get fat. I would add in party lifestyle/silly off field decisions & somewhat temperamental. Add to it he is an extremely talented football and it's like he has taken all the best bits and worst bits of big name Brazilian footballers and decided to try and do all of them at once.

If he goes missing at some point, only to pop up at the Rio carnival, then we know he is fully committed to the role.
