Clement's been in borrowed time for months so appointing Ferguson tells me they've put the bait out and nobody's nibbles.

It's a safe appointment til the end of the season. Club legend and zero expectations so at least the fans will back him

heard some caller on the radio yesterday asked about this. The presenter said about Ferguson having little management experience, at least at a decent level, so why did they choose him as manager. caller says 'because he knows the club inside out!'

Ferguson left Rangers 16 years ago :|

agree. a bit like Lampard to Chelsea, it was so the fans have someone they want to back, takes the heat off the owners and the expectation is zero

Rangers good value for their win at Parkhead. Given the way the way their season's gone though, they'll probably lose to Dundee next week

No let’s hope for a Rangers win and a spectacular end of season Celtic collapse instead of the usual ******* tedious 1 horse race and finish.

Celtic actually play decent football. Rangers don't and are massively complacent when it isn't a big game.

They've beaten Celtic twice in the league this season but yet are still 12 points behind. The problem isn't Celtic.

Well, Rangers beat Dundee but all their familiar frailties against "lesser" opposition were there to see. To be fair to Ferguson, he's getting results but they've not kept a clean sheet and conceded 2 or more goals in 6 of his 7 matches.

Celtic 3 wins from the title. They have St Johnstone (12th) and Kilmarnock (10th) to play. Rangers have Hibs (3rd) and Aberdeen (4th) so the title could be done and dusted before the split.

The 4th Old Firm game will be at Ibrox so we could have the insane situation of Rangers winning 3 of the 4 derbies and still finishing over 10 points behind Celtic.
