Hated the horrible kits, the paucity of any half decent British talent, dreadful hairstyles and general posing. It was that time before we were flooded with all the unknown foreigners, that turn out to be actually quite decent, that you get today so clubs were still largely filled with “hopeless” British talent. But at least Bournemouth, Brighton and Brentford knew their place!

I just learned about Dario Dubois, who played for a number of teams in the Argentinian lower divisions in the 90's, and became really well known for playing in face paint
