Hated the horrible kits, the paucity of any half decent British talent, dreadful hairstyles and general posing. It was that time before we were flooded with all the unknown foreigners, that turn out to be actually quite decent, that you get today so clubs were still largely filled with “hopeless” British talent. But at least Bournemouth, Brighton and Brentford knew their place!

There were some great foreign players in the 90s. English football started to get good. largely because of the foreign influx dragging the standards up.
