You would think Chelsea players might think a bit more about what they are saying after their recent performances.

What is the fuss about this supposed Chelsea 'crisis'? Last time I looked they were 4th in the league, with really very little danger of being dragged into a relegation dogfight, which in itself is a massive achievement for such a small club.

it shows how unpopular Chelsea have become when all neutrals (even me) wanted Arsenal to win last night.

Chelsea's worst run since 1998!

If Ancellotti is going to go, it will have to be quickly in order to give a new man time to spend some serious dosh in January to prop up a defence whose failings, which have been papered over the last couple of seasons, are now laid bare for all to see.

I'd say their biggest problem is that Salomon Kalou is now considered a regular for them....

Bolton could go above Chelsea if they beat them tomorrow.

Would, SLAMM'd --no need to be so cautiously noncommital (although Chelsea'd have a match in hand on 'em --and watch out here come Blackpool!)

Anyway nice to see Arsenal step up to to the dish for a refreshing change and shove it up the ass of somebody who sorta matters and with the whole world watching, etc

Don't really see it as a crisis, when you look at who they played at the start of the season I would expect them to get similar results now if they played them, they got handed a very very easy start.

Still, got to beat Bolton tonight if they want to continue pushing for a Europa League spot

The Chelsea supporters haven't had such a crisis to endure since they were Fulham supporters in 2003.

Where do we start (and end)?
...because the cheating John Terry is their captain?
...because Cashley Arsehole plays for them?
...because DrogBARR plays for them?
...because Mourinho managed them?
...because they lied over the Hunt incident re the time taken by the ambulance to attend?
...because Czek wouldn't accept Hunt's apology?
...because their fans are arrogant?
...because they're owned by a very rich Russian with alleged links to the Russian mafia?
...because they humiliated the decent Ray Wilkins?
...because their chief executive is wats-is-name?

Hugo, you know it's because all RFC fans are still upset about getting beaten 1-0 at home by them that time

But we were better than them and Lampard dived because Sonko didn't do fouls on the edge of the box and shots that go in after deflecting twice don't count anyway.

1) They're 'new money' and nobody really likes that

2) They've been lacking in a lot of class, humility and their behaviour both on and off the pitch since about the time Abromovich took over has left a lot to be desired. They perfectly represent the above the law attitude of the current generation of players (and indeed clubs).

3) They've been successful

4) Because for some reason they seem to have attracted - and condoned the behaviour of - some of the most individually odious players in the game (e.g. Messrs Terry, Lampard, Cole ......)

5) Because the philosophy the Mourinho gave to them - of do everything you can to piss people off by being arrogant and unpleasant - still lives on there

6) Because clubs take on the ethics and morals of their CEOs, and Peter Kenyon embodies everything that is bad about the moneyfication of football. (Incidentally, Man Utd became a loss less unpleasant to many when Kenyon left them....)
