Will be interesting what comes out - if, as it is implied, the chairman promised him funds to build a team and then didn't provide them, McLaren has every right to feel aggrieved.

He does but he's been dogshit as well so jump before you're pushed and save some face. He will only ever be a fail at Forest. He could be Keen's successor at Blackburn. He wont have long either.

Kean pleads for patience

Steve Kean has called on Blackburn's supporters to give him time and claims his relationship with his board remains as strong as ever.

sounding like a desperate man clinging on by his finger tips. i'll give him 2 weeks.

To be fair to Kean he has been really unlucky in results so far but he does have the air of a dead man walking about him.

so far? what about last season? his appointment was always a mistake. sacking allardyce because they wanted someone more experienced and then appointing kean was nothing short of ridiculous.

Can I just say that, from a 45 minute conversation with him on Tuesday morning, I'd offer up the fact that Steve Kean is a genuine and honest bloke who is more secure in his job than many think.

plymouth have sacked manager peter reid.

that is absolutely ludicrous. if you can't afford to pay your players their wages then you aren't going to get 100% out of them on match day, and they wont find a more experienced manager than peter reid. who in their right mind will want that job? no money to spend on players and no guarantee yours or your players wages will be paid.

i think reid put the rope around his neck recently when he openly backed the players threat of striking and also commented how he never see's the administrators around the club.

Didn't he also auction off one of his medals to help the club, seems a crap way to treat someone given their position

Looking forward to seeing Plymouth v Truro in the Conference soon.....
