Brum Royal Poor old Carlisle, sent to Plymouth in Round 1, then to Welling in Round 2 (with away trips to Bristol Rovers and Luton in between).

Continuing on from this, after being at "home" yesterday (in Blackpool) they now have the delights of a replay away to Yeovil.

They've certainly clocked up some miles in this FA Cup journey!

The only person on the BBC who thought Spurs should have had that ridiculous penalty yesterday and tried to suggest that Nathan Dyer deliberately "flicked" his hand out,

I found it more unforgivable that he kept referring to Jonathan Pearce as J.P.

PieEater I watched the BBC Wales coverage of the Oxford Swansea game, their reporter went on and on about how it wasn't a penalty as he'd leapt out of the way of the sliding tackle that failed to get the ball

might have already been mentioned, but that isn't as bad as Danny Murphy on Friday who insisted there was no way Exeter should have had a penalty as the challenge came in well after the ball had gone.

That was a penalty tbf. Very late challenge.

A Spuds fan at work this morning is convinced It was a penalty, as Rose was all set to take it on his chest and bury it, which 'he does all the time in training', and Dyer stopped him. I started to LOL but then realised he was serious.

Don't worry they'll lose the replay.

Not exactly sure where this should go, but the Coupe de France is actually ludicrous

8000 + teams, and the overseas territories (Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte, New Caledonia, French Polynesia, and Réunion) are invited.

Uninspiring 5th round draw with all the big teams avoiding each other.

That's the spirit of what a cup competition should be - must have led to some amazing ties.

Have PSG ever been drawn away at French Polynesia on a Tuesday night in monsoon season?

They typically come in a few round before the big boys, so you're more likely to get, sat, Shrewsbury drawn away to FC United of Tahiti, must be a good 15,000 miles.

Not sure an FA Cup final can be considered as you "doing well" given the successes under Ferguson over the last 2 decades. Being jealous of United these days is almost as laughable as being jealous of LOLerpool because of their success in the 70's and 80's.

Blimey. No need to get so angry. Guess it is the anniversary of losing to Arsenal in the semi last year though so I'll let you off. Hope you've calmed down by now.

When Ferguson took charge, he was in trouble a couple of years in to his reign. The club were looking to get rid of him, fans weren't happy, success never looked like coming.

Then in 1990 they beat Crystal Palace in the FA Cup Final and an unprecidented period of success began.

Fast forward to 2016, and LVG is a dead man walking but has managed to get the club to an FA Cup final against Palace again. I know history doesn't tend to repeat, but who knows a win next month could be the springboard they need to push on to another period of success.
