A couple of posts from people in Manchester :

Tuesday. 7.30am. Dairy Crest. Flixton, Manchester. Milkman drives float into yard having finished his round wearing arab head dress. I didn’t even know he was a football fan.

On some of the city forums there are huge plans for next Saturday's game against Chelsea with fans dressing up as arabs (not just the t-towels on the heads but full rig-out), blow up camels etc, all sorts of t-shirts getting printed up in the next week, with the 'party' starting in Manchester at 12;30.... It is going to be one hell of a day for sure!

A friend who works in a primary school text me today (first day back for them) and said the kids wearing City shirts outnumbered Utd shirts 3-1,

it is pure mania around M/c at the moment

There's jibbering idiots outside 'Middle Eastlands'

The best one was on Boo Moon where a giddy chap had the idea of "lets all meet in Pic Gardens in fancy dress for a party and then walk to the ground in mass.

The first reply was "Up for this! Where is Pic Gardens though?"

Papers today claim that Man City are prepared to buy the very best players and offer up to £500,000 a week in wages to get them.

In a game where money talks, City will leave everyone in their wake.

Real, Barca, Chelsea, United, Milan...they can't compete with that.

The wealth of the main man is over £120 billion. The interest alone on that is more than Abramovich has spent on Chelsea!

Someone please send JM out to the UAE and sell this fooking football club to a rich arab with nothing better to waste his money on.

Thanks.

Why why why would you want that? It's not real, it's not worth following, and it wouldn't be our club.
