personally I never want to see my rivals do well

I hope celtic get humped. Anything less than 6-1 tomorrow shows Celtic are better than everton!

Celtic going out gives Rangers £2.6M extra champions league money

There are positives to take away from it if celtic do win, rangers would be nearer pot 2, it would have a positive effect on the co-efficient and I could slag off the EPL for a change

Now the SPl is back on SKY the English media will start to big it up again even without a celtic victory

Why would people in scotland want an irish team to do well? Thats like the english supporting cardiff if they got to europe.

no it's not, the irish team happen to play in the league of your british team and would help the reputation of the league your team plays in by beating arsenal, it's a no-brainer

english teams supporting teams representing their league in Europe = eminently possible

although i would say there is more affinity for the irish cause from scotland (celtic brethern) than any between england and wales (the welsh absolutely hate the english, really it's intense stuff)....re. the six nations in rugby for evidence of the above

anyway regardless of all this I'm sure you'll be secretly getting behind the hooped warriors tomorrow evening in spite of your spiteful self

Gus,

Did you want rangers to beat Zenit in the final of the UEFA cup a couple of years ago?

No, I won't be supporting celtic. I hope arsenal absolutely pump you. Get an early goal to silence the crowd and then go on to score a few more. However celtic are good at home in europe and it'll be a close game.

As for the welsh, I speak to them on a daily basis and find that they are polite decent people, so this pish about them hating the english is all rugby related. I don't expect any realism from you though gus.

back up the carriage there geronimo......the fact is the welsh do hate the English with the passion of a bunnyboiler on crystal meth....that's not to say that they cannot be civilised polite people but if you disucssed with them the socio-political trends of a post-nationalist britain they'd be waving their leeks and dragons about before you could say "who's your father?"

You obviously didn't hear the cardiff city fans calling in prior to the FA cup final a few years back, claiming they didn't want the welsh national anthem playing and would rather had the british national anthem, were talking about their boys serving in the army in iraq, etc

You are jsut a bigoted irishman. I know lots of irish lads from my travels and all the one's who supported english clubs or followed hurling were class. However, the one's that followed celtic were mainly dicks, so it adds up really.

as usual you make no senssssssssssssssssssssse

I support English clubs and follow and play hurling and I also like celtic so what does that make me - a class dick, thanks

oh and lol@ the suggestion cardiff city suddenly love all things english, of all the teams that have destroyed english grounds and cities over the years they are top of that league (don't worry i'm sure rangers will overtake them if they ever enter the premier league)

The simple solution is merely to welcome back the Republic into the United Kingdom and create a UK league.

Every one's a winner.

Or celtic can join the irish league where they belong and we can merge the scottish league into this one! Good times.

I seriously doubt you are a celtic fan then and just fall for the romantic notion that they are the most loved support in the world. You are the only celtic fan I have ever heard say they wanted Rangers to win that night

ever been to celtic park? ever posted on kerrydale street or the huddleboard? Had you heard the nacho novo song before I posted it above?
