Nothing too surprising at the top or bottom of Serie A this weekend rounded off by a 3-0 win for Lazio against Novara tonight.

Inter still have problems after being beaten at home by Udines and Roma had three players sent off in their defaet at Fiorentina.

Was fun trying to watch Pamra's goalless draw against Palermo last night, fog was so bad you couldn't see the far side of the pitch let alone the goals!

A weekend for the clubs at the bottom in Serie A against sides at the top. Cesena ended Palermo's 100% home record with a win, while Novara held Napoli as did Bologna with AC Milan. Juventus drew tonight at Roma to go back top the top while the other challengers, Udinese and Lazio won.

Real Madrid beat Sevilla 6-2 last night with Iker Casillas doing this to stop Sevilla equalising:

Winter break has arrived in Serie A with AC Milan level on points with Juventus. Unbeaten Juve drew at Udinese tonight who lost their 100% home record, Udinese also drew with the other title challengers Lazio on sunday night. Elsewhere Napoli destroyed Genoa 6-1 to make up for a couple of dissapointing results and Palermo finally scored away, after sacking another manager after losing the Sicialian derby to Catania. Cesena, Novara and Leece occupy the bottom three with Bologna and Siena looking over their shoulders.

I don't understand why clubs even agree to pay agents now. The next time an agent submits a £50,000 invoice for negotiating a transfer, the club should send him an invoice for £50,000 for the tea & biscuits he consumed at the meeting.

Surprise result in Italy this weekend was Siena's 4-0 thrashing of Lazio which probably makes it a three way fight for the title with Juventus, AC Milan and Udinese all winning. At the bottom there's a six point gap now to the bottom three and Novara, Lecce and Cesena are starting to look doomed.

Top three in Serie A this weekend all dropped points as Lazio and Inter closed in on the Champions League spots. Inter beat AC in the derby, Juventus drew at home to Cagliari and Udinese lost at Genoa. At the bottom Cesena beat Novara to give them hope and Lecce won at Fiorentina. Siena above them lost at parma and Bologna got a point at Napoli. Roma's game at Catnia got abandoned in the 2nd half due to a waterlogged pitch and will have to come back and play the remaining 25 minutes.

Just noticed it's very tight at the top of the Bundesliga. Bayern, Dortmund and Schalke all on 37 points and M'gladbach on 36 points after their 3-1 win over Bayern on Friday.

The point is that the way people were going on about it you'd have thought he had stood on Messi's leg as opposed to accidently standing on his fingers.

handbags_harris De Klassieker tomorrow - Feyenoord v Ajax.

Feyenoord 4-2 Ajax. Man City loanee John Guidetti scores a hat-trick, honourary mention to Ottman Bakkal (he of being bitten by Luis Suarez fame) who scored the third for Feyenoord. Christian Eriksen and Dmitri Bulykin with the fruitless opener and 80th minute consolation for Ajax.
