...yeah spotted that after posting .... :| the Trophy S-Fs are one-off ties .... the NLM site where I picked this up from, is invariably a bewildering mess of ancillary stats for all the FA comps - so little wonder I didn't interpret it properly!

...I s'pose the 'powers that be' will be hoping for a Whyteleafe v Whitstable Final - should the other two progress the Stadium will be pretty empty - even for a Vase Final.

Royals and Racers Re above Bracknell won 4-1 not 3-1.

.... Now you mention it the official League site (Pitching In) originally had 3-1 but listed 4 goals for 'Robins' :? - every now and then the goal times on there go screwy and mess the result up.
(often because they try to be clever & show mins and secs)
- not that they can plausibly be accurate to that degree.

The other site I cross-check for league positions and form etc (FWP) probably took the result feed from them. :|

Seems Jordan Esprit got two goals in a 4' spell late on, after goals from Seb Bowerman & Dan Roberts. 'Blues' had grabbed a shock lead on around 20'....

Had a look at the attendances this weekend in the National League South and noticed that of the 13 games, 9 had attendances of 1000+ and another of 991. I remember looking at fixtures in the 1970’s hardly any fixtures in non league had gates of 1000. These increases are not just confined to this division but across the board. Is this due to football’s overall popularity or are fans drifting away from the PL/EFL?

Based on nothing other than gut feel and my own reason for going more, I'd say it was the latter

well yes, and, that imho, the quality of Non League football (both pitchside and faciility wise) has improved drastically in the past 30 or so years……..that, and some degree of better media (mainly online) coverage
