Royal Rother Can't believe he'll play for QPR again so presumably it's just to bring forward the day he can be sold without the baggage of a ban.

If they're not gonna play him again surely they would have just fired him for gross misconduct already?

Deadlock QPR have come up with a wizard wheeze whereby they send Barton off on loan to a League 2 club for a couple of months and get him to serve his 12 match ban there; the point being that they will play more games in the early part of the season so the ban will be over sooner.
BBC News The FA would consider any application to transfer the ban, but do have the power to reject it if they feel it as an abuse of the disciplinary process.

I think it must surely be just that, unless Barton actually has to play some games for his loan club once his ban is up.

Its QPR taking the piss isn't it?

Little bump - Not giving him a shirt number is a pretty strong signal they don't WANT him to play for the club again I guess.

How can I not read an article with those four words as the title? Well-played unibet.

Edit: Five words. I'm not a student.
