The Pacaembu Stadium, home of Corinthians in Sao Paulo. I went to a game here last November. It was ace.

There is also a superb museum under those arches.

Hong Kong Stadium. A pretty depressing place to watch football, since 90% plus of the fans are there to bet on the game. And not necessarily the result, it seemed like they were betting on corner kick tallies and shots on goal, marking them off on little sheets, like boys at a lazy cricket match. Very little noise or enthusiasm towards the play itself.

Veteran's Memorial Field, home of Boston Victory Soccer Club, formed in 2012. Their historical record so far is P4 W1 D1 L2

Stade de Colombes near Paris, one of the settings for the Escape to Victory Allies vs Bosche football match

Some of the scenes were also filmed here, at the Hidegkuti Nándor Stadium in Budapest, Hungary

Oddly, that picture was taken from the stand of another football ground, which is directly next door.

Rather overgrown now, the terraced hill at 1st FC Vienna was possibly the largest terrace anywhere in the world. The ground once held 85000, with around 60,000 on that one side

Nearly as lopsided is Bangkok Glass' Leo stadium, where 6000 of the 12000 capacity ground sit (actually everbody stands) in the out-of-proportion three tier stand behind one goal.

The award for worst stadium in the world probably has to go to FK Zabjelo Podgorica of the Montenegro 2nd division

Nice work, digging that out. I do feel though, that Romanian club Petrotub Roman's ground, the Stadionul Moldova, gives this a good run for it's money:

Awesome thread btw!

This one is similar to the Croc stadium but designed more like a snake.

Closer to home, the late and great Wolverton Park including the supposedly oldest grandstand in English football.

Must be really intimidating taking a penalty in front of that fortress.

If Chelsea can fit a 60,000 seater stadium within the power station it might look a little like this.......
