Oscar looks like he could be a good signing for Chelsea. Any chance Anton could persuade Roman to let us have him on loan :D

Didn't see it but sounded like they were outclassed from the first whistle.

Brazil will win the gold I suspect.

Not sure how much effort the GB players will really put in TBH given clubs might have told them to take it easy?

I think the Spanish might have something to say about that.

You'd think so but Uruguay are dangerous as well and historically the Brazillians don't like playing them.

Was kind of hoping for more from Brazil tbh, that team could be incredible by 2014 though. GB were as expected, totally :|

Strangely, my Brazilian friends don't rate the Brazilian team at all and think they have no chance of winning the olympics. Also one of them doesn't support the Brazilian team at all, saying the players only care about money and don't want to play for the shirt. Good to know we aren't the only team with those kind of problems.

Personally I fancy Brazil or Spain.

Watching the opening womens game against NZ, it is a poor excuse, to be called football, but the commentator is really getting to me. In just a few minutes he has said.

"Oh, she was unlucky to slice that out for a corner", it wasn't unlucky it was a s hite

"She's been really unfortunate not to have a hatrick", Um no, she didn't hit the target once.

If was men playing he would be having a right go at them saying they should have done better, and probably laugh at the slice.

EPR 54 minutes in and getting tired of hearing "Team GB" already. "Great Britain" shurely, all the other nations are referred to by country.

Yes, it is going to get utterly f*cking tiresome isn't it. More awful americanism and corporate branding from the PR types who drive the news and political agenda in this country.

Just seen the Team GB goal - is that the latest, most ostentatious, dive ever from the NZ 'keeper?
