FORSTERS_RIGHT_FOOT
LoyalRoyalFan I've also watched Baines in the UEFA Cup (last season) and he looked natural at that level. Good on set-pieces. He was obviously first choice out of the two, but that mistake against Mexico has cost him his place. So how can you judge on one error?

\How can you judge a player on two games aswell then?

I think Capello has judged most of these players over these two games.

I can't get over how he selects Walcott throughout the qualifiers, praises him and then after two bad games drops him.

High fives to the people who can understand you don't just pick the top English scorer in the premiership, if it was that easy Adrian Durham would be England manager.

BTW I've never had my hopes raised and dashed so quickly as when I found out the King Out posts were incorrect

Its the same as Ian Wright, Andy Cole etc - they were superb at club level but just didn't cut it for England. The likes of Alan Shearer and Teddy Sheringham did cos their all-round game was far better than those of Wright and Cole, who really were just goal scorers.

England already have goal scorers in Rooney, Crouch and Defoe so what they need to back them up is the likes of Heskey making the space for them to knock the ball into the back of the net. Anyone who's played football (or even watches it regularly) will know this.
