Am I right in thinking "end of the current season" means June 30?

Rax Keith Harris has launched a rival bid to buy stricken Portsmouth Football Club

................with a recently signed strikeforce of Orville and Cuddles!!

Really disappointed to learn that this isn't the proper Keith Harris, but some boring financier instead.

I think so. By which time it will be too late to start a pheonix club for 2013-14.

Meanwhile, on the pitch, a club record ninth successive loss in the big south coast derby. 11 points adrift of safety.

It seems crazy that the PFA could derail the trusts bid just to get their cash earlier - totally ignoring the longer term effect on the club (and the other players). Presumably the £8m the players are owed is tied to the parachute payments, with the trust getting screwed to pay more for the ground they can't have enough cash left.

PST statement is due tomorrow.

It looks like the end might finally arrive.

Weeks delay is due to the PFA talking to the Football League about allowing last weeks rejected bid to be accepted.

Yes but they want that to get their £8m sooner, that seems to be their only motivation. Whether that will happen is debatable, why would Harris lease the ground but give them £3m to spend on transfers?

 love that gif.

We all know Pompey will survive. If any club ever deserved to be shut down then Pompey are it, but they've had so much protection it's beyond a joke. They're as good as down now, so the points deduction wont prove to be a punishment either.
