royalexile City had 7 shots on target. Pretty effective!

BBC stats as 12 on target, 7 off, but such stats vary widly from source to source. Maybe they used the guy who does the stats for "Royals TV". They had Watford at 0 shots on target at half time the other week, despite being a goal up.

This was the nearest to a ManchesteROFL United thread we had in the first 15 pages and I wasn't going to bother looking any further for one.

I'm happy for you to go with either on the basis that I really don't care what you think.

Footballing lesson handed out to Man United today; it might even make some of the more arrogant of their fans pause to re-consider their dismissive attitude to a team that only beat us 1-0 last season now they have been utterly humiliated by their City rivals, at home, for their worst Derby defeat in 85 years.

Schards#2 Long drive home for United fans

most of them left early so they shouldn`t be too late

Surely they stayed to the bitter end singing "We're gonna win 7-6?"

Little bit miffed at some of the comments here to be honest. The origins of the WMUWDWWW chant are all about the behaviour of our supporters rather than what happens on the pitch and yesterday true to form WDWWW. As for  Manchester is blue comment well after the Scholes header at Eastlands a couple of seasons ago after the game the whole City Centre was bouncing with reds. Yesterday there was a stark contrast with the City Centre once again being swamped by United fans although many had a different agenda. City fans moaning about getting done over on Blue Moon in Sale, Salford, Gorton and Ancoats. Also expect a news story to break regarding Ricky Hatton who was on more than Guinness in Mulligans by all accounts.

As for the game. Outplayed by a mile and no complaints. Didn’t really expect to win to be fair as we’ve been poor since Cleverley has been out. Dodgy keeper, Rio is finished and a weak centre mid. If City played well we would always struggle. And they did.

Still in shock at the scoreline though.
