Tommy Youlden's Ears Sitting in a rather pleasant west london sports club tonight, with a Southampton supporting chum.
As we go 2-1 up, I hear chuntering from behind me.
Turns out they are two West Ham fans. And it's the same old same old.
"This is bad news. We need a draw now. Reading are far less likely to win their remaining games than Southampton".
I resisted. My old day would have been proud at the restraint. I resisted the "what the F". I didn't rant about our form. About how you don't achieve what we've achieved through luck, or with a mediocre squad. About how teams win in this league, and how an unmanageable mess of so called 'stars' tend to screw up. About how a sense of entitlement garners no points, but, in fact sp*nks them away. I just sat. And smiled. And thought how proud I am that my 9 year old son has two 'bitches' on Fifa. Leeds. And West Ham. Good taste, my lad. And then we scored again, and they left. Tails, legs.
Will West ham win the play offs? No. They simply don't deserve it. They need to learn a few Championship lessons. The Cnuts.

Mr Angry Having seen Brighton on Tuesday, all I can say is that they will pass Wham off the park today; if they can keep it tight for the first 20 mins, and as Wham don't touch the ball, those no-necked Essex fans will start murmering and the nervousnous will transfer to the players......0-0 ast half time will be greeted with mass booing, whilst if BHA can actually show a degree of composure in front of goal, may well end up getting a result today.
