Unless it's run by bobo's, i doubt Mittal or Fernandes built their respective empires without looking at all possible outcomes.

Same as Pompey and Birmingham m8, rich owners with a successful business dable in football, lose money and pull the plug.

Give ya head a wobble.

QPR just do not learn from others
Redknapp has fckud up West Ham, Bournemouth, Southampton and Pompey.

He has over spent at them all and sent them spiralling to a points reduction. (In Portsmouth case 'Nearly out of business')

Spurs were a bigger club and could fund his ambitions.

QPR are an accident waiting to happen and what with their small fan base they will more than likely go the same way as those above.

Enjoy the happy times QPR
The bad times are sure to be looming!

Nothing against QPR either, but obviously I need them to take a relegation spot this season. If they do go down, they are really fcked.

Trouble is, IMO, they have had an expensive squad ever since they came back up, but ( apart from during their impressive escape last season) they have massively under performed.

Is that what you say to your missus when she's maxed the credit card in House of Fraser?

If this is your idea of investment Tredder then quite frankly you can keep it.

Tredder I fail to see the opposition/hate/jealousy for an owner with ambition, the comparisons with us and Pompey are quite frankly, embarrassing.

Pompeys owners struggled to pay their stationary bill with staples, not having two pennies to rub together, we have TF and Mittal, both ambitious and both wanting the club to succeed.

We have sponsorship that other clubs can only dream of, we have owners willing to spend on quality players to withhold our EPL status, Southampton spent far more than us, yet they seem to have gained some sort of 'Free from critisism' card, the ambition the owners have include a new stadium, training facilities and more quality players, as for Harry, he's given what he's allowed, TF was the catalyst to signing Remy, not Harry. Under him, we've become a team again, all this before he ventured into the transfer market, either he's a good manager, or Hughes was utter dogshit.

A hint of jealousy and outlandish coverage on here, is testament to what the owners want to achieve opposed to what happens at Reading, god forbid you lot buy this bloke for 8.5m, more than what we'll pay for M'Vila, keep with the posts, it tickles me.

Freudian slip?

On the day Tony Fernandes bought Queens Park Rangers, he spoke of prudence and stability.

He would not bankroll the club, he said. QPR would be run with common sense, good judgment - a model of how to succeed in a world where the value of footballers had become "completely inflated."

"Football needs to change," he declared. "There are clubs out there who are spending money that if they were in a real business they could not afford. That inflates it for everybody. For the sake of football, proper business sense has to be made."

I'm not a QPR apologist but I thought their rearguard was fantastic in the second half. They would have completely capitulated under Hughes.
