Do I have to declare in advance a small bet on Slovenia in case I get excited at winning next weeks beer money?

You really are retaliating on the tedium arn't you? I placed the bet just about as the teams came out. How far out is the server clock? My computer times this post @ 15.40

She has a point there actually - mine says 15:40 and Slovenia have just got their second (43 minutes into their game)

Is it too late to say I have just lumped £10 on Slovenia to beat us? Given that shocking display, what more can we expect.
I also have a bet on SA to beat France- placed before the Mexico game, I thought they might come out with a good display for the last game, however one would assume France will actually make a bit more of an effort, so prolly will not be a winner.

England / USA double, then place winnings on Serbia tonight.

You know it makes sense.

Never bet on England but if I were to do so there's surely some value in laying them today.

I have just bet my entire Blue Sq balance, all £10.39 of it (after a disastrous World Cup), on England.

On Monday

Baines Incidentally, Betfair presently have England to win at 1.51 to back/1.52 to lay. I think we'll just about win, but those odds are pretty tempting for the lay.

Today

1.46/1.47...

I've got a few bob in my betfair account and was solely tempted by this.

On reflection, I can see Slovenia 'parking the bus' and England haven't looked much like conceding so far, so I felt the better value (if you think England will bomb) is the 12.5 on the 0-0. Plus a small sum on the 0-1 as a saver

This, plus A Cole @ 55's first goal are my punts this arvo.

Draw a massive runner in this & 13/5 on the worst Portugal team for a long time against the Top Ranked Team dosent exactly smack as value. Dont be swayed by the 7-0, this is the same Portugal that barely got near Ivory Coasts goal and couldnt beat The Cape Verde Isles.
