So a club which averaged less than us this season is being linked to another proven player.

You'd never see RFC linked to him

Wrong. If Reading were prepared to pay the wages, like Brum seemingly are, then yes we'd be considered. It's all about money!

LOL you say I am " wrong", then go on to support an argument which confirms I am right? That doesn't make sense.

You'd never see RFC linked to the players brum have because they have ambition.

Yes they did. A very good signing for that division if it happens.

Fair play. Still a decent CCC player, IMHO, so would be a "leading star for any League One team".

LOLz @ Jose Mourinho's comments to an Italian journalist who asked him if he was about to sign a blonde midfielder (Mourinho had previously said he won't talk about Pavel Nedved any more)

Jose Mourinho I think this conversation is getting a bit gay, I don't care if he is blond

Real Madrid have had to pay the full €5M transfer fee they received from Benfica for Javier Saviola to.....Javier Saviola due to a compensation clause in his contract.

This begs the question, has a player ever not lived up to expectations more than Javier Saviola?

Mourinho continued to give his usual smart answers as he tried to out-wit the press who fired questions hand over fist, but the coach was quick to press the buzzer with his responses which, at times, caused controversy.

"Your question sounds gay to me," said Mourinho when he was twice asked to give a clue about the type of defender he was looking for.

Adebayor in talks with Manchester City.

Sky Sources understand Manchester City are in talks with Arsenal over the possible signing of striker Emmanuel Adebayor.

Adebayor has been linked with a move away from Arsenal this summer, with a number of European clubs said to be interested in his services.

But the Togo international's future looked to be settled after his agent recently stated he would be staying at Emirates Stadium.

However, it is understood discussions are being held between affluent club City and their Premier League rivals Arsenal over a deal.

More to follow...
