I think you'll find I said he was going prior to the Chelsea league game at Anfield.

Maguire Right decision to get rid of Dalglish anyway - unpleasant little man who has quite clearly failed to take the club forward this season. Edging past a Championship club on penalties in the final of England's worst major competition =/= a successful campaign.

TailsVictor Meldrew I think you miss the point.
The Liverpool fans are disappointed that he got the sack because they desperately wanted him to succeed, not that the club has sacked him.
Really? Not one of the fans quoted on the news channels have indicated this interpretation. They realise that he is probably now out of touch with the world
You mean that his stance on racism in football belongs back in the 1980s?

BR2 I doubt there was much about it on CBBC or whatever news channel you have been watching.
Your point about racism is unfounded-have you personally spoken to him about his views on racism?
You have assumed that because he stood behind his employee means that he advocated racism-a misguided stance based on loyalty maybe but hardly unconditional evidence of him being a racist.

cmonurzwho are ya?southbank1871 Cmonrz - it's a truly bizarre comparison as if McDermott had been sacked for Reading missing out on promotion, it would have been completely unjustified, as he hadn't spent a shed load of money on some very average players.

Idiots missing my point doesn't surprise me.
Dalglish is revered at Anfield. That gets you some slack. McDermott was very highly thought of at Reading (the comparisons to Coppell had started) before the new owners came in. The point is, the fans love Dalglish like we do McDermott, no amount of circumstance is going to change that or stop many being upset that he is leaving the club.

The way Suarez was publicly supported was retarded. There is a reason the club recieved alot of stick during the season and "King" Kenny done absolutely phuck all to stop it

His ability to play the beautiful game apart, I have never seen him say or do ANYTHING that has endeared him to me. Prick.

southbank1871 I like Martinez but what credentials does he really have to take over at Liverpool?
by Franchise FC » 17 May 2012 17:30
Compo's Hat Dave Whelen gives Liverpool permission to talk to Martinez. Good news for us Reading fans i feel.
